Eternity
I am new to this whole blogging thing and decided, well why not? Its sort of like my own diary except I'm sharing it with everyone! hehe To start off, I just turned 21 years old yesterday the 26th of July and I feel as if I would feel on any other birthday...getting older! closer to white hairs, wrinkles, etc; haha ;)
So much has happened this past year and I am so thankful for all the blessings that have been blessed upon my family, my ETERNAL family that is! July 17, 2010 we were able to enter the temple to be sealed for all time and eternity in the Jordan River temple and what an amazing experience it was to have done so. For anyone who has known us, we definitely have come a long way and finally reached our goal to be sealed. It wasn't an easy thing to do let me tell ya! While preparing for over a year and talking with our bishop...we were good to go! We loved being at the temple! I was overwhelmed with emotions as the 2 sisters brought our two boys to be sealed to us. They looked so handsome in their white clothing I wish we could do it all over again just to experience it all one more time. The spirit was incredible and the love and support from our families that were there was tremendous! I can't wait to visit the temple often to learn and gain more knowledge.
The other day when my in-laws left, my oldest son Dreysen was crying and throwing a fit (as always when he see's his nana and papa leave.) They all left back to washington and as I was putting him in the car, he stopped crying and said to me "Mommy? can we go to the temple?" Like, out of know where! I thought it was so cute that he still remembers the temple and now he constantly asks me if we can go!
The things kids say are the cutest things:)
I'm so grateful for this gospel and grateful that families could be together forever. I love you Lance, Dreysen & Zeland! Btw, if you've seen my pictures on facebook from the sealing, the temple sort of looks like a drawing? lol random thought ok! hope you all enjoyed reading my first blog. There will be many more to come:)
